Hearing Aid Prices

How much do hearing aids cost?

The cost of medical-grade hearing aids depends on the level of technology you need to support your lifestyle. The more active you are, the more you’ll benefit from additional features. Our customers pay anything between R9,000 and R90,000 for a pair.

A 2001 study by R. Adler found that we spend 70% of our time engaged in some form of communication. Of that time, we spend about 9% writing, 16% reading, 30% speaking, and 45% listening. That’s over five hours a day! Keeping in mind that these hard-working devices last around five years, it’s worth investing between R5 and R50 a day in hearing better.

At hear.com, we specialise in matching you with hearing aids that meet your individual needs, lifestyle, and budget. We partner with leading manufacturers and the best local hearing care professionals to ensure you are 100% satisfied or your money back.

Compare hearing aids

Hearing aids come in several styles, and with different levels of hearing aid technology. You can choose between Premium, Mid-range and Basic. Whichever you pick, the devices in each of these categories are digital, provide optimal speech understanding, and reduce feedback and background noise.

When choosing a device, the most important decision factors should be the degree of hearing loss and how active you are. Together with an audiologist, we’ll recommend a solution that will improve your daily life.
